A private cookbook for you and your friends The recipes
The recipes
you actually
cook.
A small, invite-only cookbook you share with the friends you cook with. The recipes you make again, written down properly, so you can find them next time instead of digging through old screenshots.

The thing nobody fixes
Your best recipes are scattered. One's in a WhatsApp thread with your mum, one's a torn-out magazine page, and one's a screenshot from a phone you stopped using two phones ago.
recipefriends gives them one place to live, where you and the friends you cook with can actually read them.
It's pretty much what you'd expect.

Write your recipes down
Type a recipe in, or paste a messy list of ingredients and we'll sort it into sections. You keep your own wording and your own measurements. There's no long preamble to scroll past before the actual cooking starts.
- 02
Invite the friends you cook with
Make a circle, give it a name like “Sunday dinners” or “the baking group chat”, and send a link. Your friends open it in any browser. There's nothing to download, and no extra account to set up.
- 03
See what everyone's been cooking
A plain, time-ordered list of what your circle has been making. Sam cooked your carbonara and gave it five stars. Marie added an appeltaart. You turned Sam's lentil soup into shakshuka. No likes, no algorithm deciding what you see.
It's for cooking, so it stays out of your way.
Cook mode
One step at a time, screen stays on.
Full-screen, hands-free instructions with timers built in. Even “bring the water to a boil” gets a clock. Your phone won't dim halfway through stirring.
Try it on a recipe →Private by default
Yours unless you share it.
Share a single recipe, or a whole circle, with exactly who you pick. Nobody you didn't invite can get in.
Provenance
Credit stays with the dish.
Adapted Sam's soup? The recipe says so, with a link back to the original. When a dish has a history, we keep it.
No ads · no data sale
A small yearly subscription. That's the whole business.
We don't run ads, and we don't sell your data. You pay for it, so you're the one we answer to. Built in the Netherlands, hosted in the EU.
The feed
You can see who actually cooked it.
What your friends are making, not just saving and forgetting about. Here's what a week looks like in a small circle.
